The best thing about selling the house across the street? Cutting it real close on the Open Houses. The worst thing? Losing one of the best families in the neighborhood. Sigh. But it was such a cool one to sell. One owner is an architect, so you know she was done right. The other owner has an incredible eye for light fixtures, details and décor. (That kitchen backsplash was all her. Those – I’m going to go with breathtaking floors were all him.) Updated kitchen, completely redesigned primary suite with killer ensuite bathroom, open yet defined space, amazing backyard with an outdoor theater and Texas native landscaping to take it to a modern place. Not a shocker, it sold in a weekend, but it’s forever in my heart. And also, on my street.
